Inextinguishable (2008) – The Knucker Press, Livingston, Scotland

Writing as Craig Sterling, James is also the author of “Stealing Fire”, published by Leamington Books in 2011. “Stealing Fire” was shortlisted for the Rome Film Festival 2011 and favourably reviewed in the press .

Copies of Stealing Fire may be purchased directly from James Wood for £5.00.

In April 2013, Ward/Wood Publications will issue “The Anvil’s Prayer”, James’s first full-length collection of poetry. The Anvil’s Prayer finds magic in the ordinary: heroism in the average person and beauty in the least likely places. Celebrating the wonder that surrounds us in the most mundane events of our everyday lives, James W Woods first full length collection turns from praise to elegy, from excoriating criticism to exaltation, in language which is as understated as it is precise and daring.
